Our youth ministry strives to cultivate the "whole man" by addressing not just their spiritual needs, but also their emotional, social, and intellectual aspects. Through engaging activities, meaningful lessons, and supportive relationships with caring adults, children are empowered to explore their faith, develop a sense of belonging within their community, and grow into well-rounded individuals who embody the values and principles of their religious tradition.
The phrase "whole man" encapsulates the belief that nurturing children involves more than just imparting religious knowledge; it encompasses fostering their overall well-being and helping them flourish in every aspect of their lives. This ensures that children not only understand their faith intellectually but also internalize its principles and values, allowing them to live out their beliefs in a way that positively impacts themselves and those around them.
WHAT IS STRONGkids?
We Offer In-Person and Virtual Services
Upon arrival at the Welcome desk, a member of our welcome committee will greet your family and explain how the STRONGkids zone operates. For your child's check-in, we require certain details, such as the name of a family member, your child's name and birth date, your address, phone number, and any specific instructions you might have. Our team will assist you throughout the process, all the way to your child's designated room, so please don't hesitate to inquire further.
Every STRONGkids volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.
*Please note only an adult 18 years or older can check-in and check-out a child aged 3-12. Any adult that you authorize must be named on the registration sheet.
Should you have a child with special needs requiring additional support to engage in STRONGkids, we are eager to collaborate with you to ensure their experience is wonderful.
